When people think of Paris, they think of the Eiffel Tower. In this blog post I listed some of the best photo spots to take those iconic instagram-worthy pictures!
Where is the Eiffel Tower?
The Eiffel Tower is located in the 7th arrondissement, in the southwestern part of Paris, between the river Seine and the big park Champ de Mars.
1. Place du Trocadéro
Place du Trocadéro is probably he most known spot to take pictures of the Eiffel Tower, which also makes it the most crowded spot.
I would say the best time to take pictures would be during sunrise, as it is the least crowded time of the day. And bonus: seeing the sun coming up from the perfect angle.
This location has many different angles you can take pictures from.
My favorites are:
- The main square
- The staircase
- Trocadéro Gardens
Closest metro station: Trocadéro
2. Bir-Hakeim bridge
This bridge crosses over the Seine river and gives you a beautiful view of the Eiffel Tower. It's also less crowded so perfect for those people-free pictures.
Closest metro station: Bir Hakeim or Passy
3. Seine river
There are so many places along the Seine where you’ll find unobstructed views of the Eiffel Tower. Perfect for those people-free pictures.
4. Arc de Triomphe
For a beautiful view of the Parisian skyline, with the Eiffel Tower included, you have to go up to the top of Arc de Triomphe. You'll have to go up a lot of stairs. But it’s definitely worth it! From the top you get an amazing view of the Eiffel Tower and the rest of Paris.
Closest metro station: Charles de Gaulle Etoile
The price of an entrance ticket to the Arc de Triomphe is €16 and can be purchased through their website:
